My sister's moose, I mean dog, Sadie. Bigger than most humans, she once was a cute little pup with long legs and huge paws...and you know what they say about big paws...big dog but how could we have known she would grow to be the size of a pony.

You might say we overloaded our trailer for the trip to Carlisle.
A telling start to our trip, we blew this tire the very first night passing through Arizona.
We ended up replacing all six the next morning.

6 new tires: $1600
6 new rims (three were cracked): $900
2 new axles (out of three): $2100
857 Gallons of diesel: 1 arm, 1 leg, and about $3500
First trip to one of the biggest Mopar events in the US: Priceless

Poppies

It's not easy balancing a camera on the ATV, getting the dogs to stay put, and run across a field of poppies without crushing them.

We didn't start the fire...

Before our brick wall, we could look out across an open field and the camouflaged homes of the homeless. Here the desert shantytown is being burnt down by the local authorities. Or maybe the fire was accidentally started (meth, perhaps?) but either way the whole desert was later cleared by controlled fire.
